TigerGate scans your NHN Cloud account’s security posture (security group rules, storage ACLs, instance configuration, and more) via a dedicated console account scoped to a project.
Create a dedicated sub-account for TigerGate rather than reusing a personal login — it’s easier to audit and revoke independently.

Before you start

In TigerGate, open Cloud Providers → NHN Cloud. You’ll fill in three values:
ValueWhat it is
UsernameNHN Cloud console ID.
PasswordNHN Cloud console password.
Tenant IDNHN Cloud tenant ID for the project to scan.

1. Create a dedicated account

1

Create a sub-account

In the NHN Cloud ConsoleIAM → Members → Invite Member, invite a new member (e.g. [email protected]) into the target project.
2

Assign a read-only role

Assign the member the project’s built-in Viewer (read-only) role, not Admin or Member.
3

Note the Tenant ID

The Tenant ID is shown under Project → Project Info in the console.

2. Connect it in TigerGate

1

Fill in the credentials

In Cloud Providers → NHN Cloud, enter the Username, Password, and Tenant ID.
2

Test

Click Test. TigerGate checks that all three fields are filled in and saves the connection.
Test currently validates only that the required fields are present — it does not yet perform a live authentication round-trip against NHN Cloud. Whether the credentials actually work is confirmed when a scan runs.
3

Scan or schedule

Run an on-demand scan, or add a Schedule.
