Create a dedicated sub-account for TigerGate rather than reusing a personal
login — it’s easier to audit and revoke independently.
Before you start
In TigerGate, open Cloud Providers → NHN Cloud. You’ll fill in three values:| Value | What it is |
|---|---|
| Username | NHN Cloud console ID. |
| Password | NHN Cloud console password. |
| Tenant ID | NHN Cloud tenant ID for the project to scan. |
1. Create a dedicated account
Create a sub-account
In the NHN Cloud Console → IAM →
Members → Invite Member, invite a new member (e.g.
[email protected]) into the target project.Assign a read-only role
Assign the member the project’s built-in Viewer (read-only) role, not
Admin or Member.
2. Connect it in TigerGate
Fill in the credentials
In Cloud Providers → NHN Cloud, enter the Username, Password,
and Tenant ID.
Test
Click Test. TigerGate checks that all three fields are filled in and
saves the connection.
Test currently validates only that the required fields are present — it
does not yet perform a live authentication round-trip against NHN Cloud.
Whether the credentials actually work is confirmed when a scan runs.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
Test error: NHN Cloud requires: … | One of Username, Password, or Tenant ID was left blank | Fill in all three fields |
| Scan fails to authenticate | Wrong username or password | Re-check the credentials, or reset the sub-account’s password |
| Scan finds no resources / access denied | Tenant ID doesn’t match the target project, or the account lacks read access to it | Re-check the Tenant ID under Project Info; confirm the member is in that project with a read-only role |
